Centenary Postponed till March 2021

Hi All, sadly due to the ongoing restrictions and uncertainty from COVID-19, the Centenary Committee have made the call to postpone the official celebration of 100 years of Onewhero Rugby until March 12/13th 2021.

Obviously the current situation has majorly effected this rugby season and the lifeblood of the club. We are also very conscious that peoples lives and livelihoods have been turned upside down.

Moving the event to 2021 gives everybody time to recover and then get together in what should a festival of preseason rugby in the sunshine!

The event will be scaled back slightly, not being on a long weekend and most likely will see some Friday Night Rugby with the Offical Centenary Celebrations on the Saturday.

Once we are able to get together safely, the committee with revamp the programme and get the information/website updated.

In the meantime we look forward to the 2020 club season getting underway in some shape or form in the coming weeks so still plenty of opportunity to get along and support the club.

Coming soon there will be Centenary Polo shirts and Caps available to purchase via the website along with our Book covering the first 90 years!

Your support of Onewhero Rugby Football Club is much appreciated, all the best to everyone, stay safe...
